DELHI RAILWAY STATION RE-DEVELOPMENT PROJECT

The New Delhi Railway Station (NDLS), a bustling transportation hub in the heart of India’s capital, is set for a remarkable transformation. Here are the key details about its redevelopment:

1. Project Overview:

   • The Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) is spearheading the redevelopment project.

   • The goal is to completely replace the existing railway station with a modern, state-of-the-art facility.

   • The project will follow the Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) concept, integrating commercial, residential, public-semi-public, and recreational spaces.

2. Architectural Vision:

   • The revamped NDLS will feature twin glass dome-shaped structures.
